400 point Scum Epic

so I'm playing a team epic game at the weekend, me and a rebel squad vs two imperial squadrons. Now knowing the Imperial players I'm expecting two max sized TIE swarms at least, but I don't know what else.

my teammate is running a CR-90 backed up by a selection of aces.

so I'm thinking of running this;

Croc 1 - wed15, construction droid, assault missiles, ordinance team, backup shield gen, ordinance tubes, merchant 1, weapons engineer, sensor team

Guri - virago, glitterstimm, advanced sensors, VI, stealth

Graz - Vectored thrusters

Black sun ace - adaptability, Vectored thrusters

4x black sun soldiers

Croc 2 - dengar, construction droid, heavy laser turret, ig-Rm thug droids, backup shield generators, optimised generators, insatiable wart title

Kath scarlet - adaptability, tractor beam, tailgunner, inertial dampeners

4-LOM - mist hunter, tractor beam, collision detector, zuckuss, VI

2x Lok Revenant - VI, Dorsal Turret

so does anyone have any thoughts on the list above?

ok so the game has now been played, and my eventual list was very different to the one I posted above;

Croc 1 - wed15, construction droid, cluster missiles, ordinance team, backup shield gen, ordinance tubes, merchant 1, weapons engineer, sensor team

Croc 2 - dengar, construction droid, heavy laser turret, ig-Rm thug droids, backup shield generators, optimised generators, insatiable wart title

Gand Findsman x2

Constable Zuvio - Cad Bane, Bomblet generator, spacetug tractor array

5x Tansarii point veteran - light Syck, adaptability

Serissu - heavy title, VI, stealth device, tractor beam

2x Lok Revenant - VI, Dorsal Turret

Guri - virago, glitterstimm, advanced sensors, VI, stealth

going right to left at deployment;

my double Crocs (backed up by the Sycks and Scurrgs) ended up facing off against a raider and decimator. Guri supported my ally's 4 b-wings in our centre against some interceptors (Fel and two generics), duchess, Kestal, and Major Striden with Hux on-board.

then my ally had a Tantive IV cr-90 backed up by biggs, wedge, Rey, and a Tala squadron z-95, and on our far left i had the two Findsmen (we refer to this ship as "the ambulance") escorting constable zuvio. All of this faced off against 6 defenders including the countess, a lambda with HLC, redline with cluster bombs, a punisher with assault missiles, and a gozanti setup as an assault missile platform.

I'm not going to give a turn by turn, but the end result was a scum/rebel victory. The defenders utterly dominated our left flank, killing a Findsman and the quadjumper for no loss. However, the surviving Findsman and Rey forced them to split there attention and they didn't mange to bring either ship down my the end (though the imperials didn't loose a single defender). In the centre it was pure mayhem, this area of the battle was defined by our CR-90 on the left (which managed to bring the gozanti down to 1 hull by the end of the game) and my gun-armed Croc on the right, and this caused the small ships to funnel into quite a confined area - predictably, Fel and the rest of the fast imperials ended up in amongst the B-wings, before Guri, Wedge, and Biggs forced them to break off (this area basically ends in a stale-mate, with the Bat-wing shuttle eventually dieing to a swarm of Syck's after it tried to come to the aid of the raider and decimator.

the clash between the raider, Crocs, and their escorts was brutal, but decisive to the outcome of the game. As the epic's closed on each other it was a fairly even exchange, but the decimator got mobbed by the Sycks, forcing into a position where it was eventually run over by the raider (it was on 1 health as well). The Sycks then moved off to engage the upsilon shuttle as previously mentioned. The two Scurrgs strafed along the raider, one on each side, as the missile armed croc closed to point blank range with the raider whilst the second croc hang back and gave supporting fire. The end result was the missile armed croc being crippled (4 health left, backup shield gen killed by a crit, unable to target lock, and having to spend energy to do actions) but the raider was dead due to multiple point blank exchanges with the missile croc and the scurrgs.

at this point the imperials conceded the game after 5 very hard fought turns, as they only had a 1 hull gozanti, a lambda, Fel, and 6 defenders left - where as we had an un touched cr-90 and croc, a crippled croc, Guri, wedge, biggs, Rey (1 hull), a findsman (1 hull), and 5 Sycks (1 generic died).

everyone had fun, and it was nice to have 5 epic ships on the table as it really gave the game a different feel.we at r already planning a rematch :)
