Hi gents,

new player speaking here.

I'm playing with a b-wing at the moment and so far I usually fly with Ibtisan and fire control system. Now I expanded my collection and have Keyan and advanced sensors. Which of these system cards fits better to the pilots, respectively? I general I would like to keep the ships stressed to make use of their abilities and combine them with Hera or Ezran. I feel like using ibtisan with adv. sensors is not as useful sicne I usually keep the stress from one round to the next. Is it correct that "free" actions only can be conducted while not being stressed?

True. Given stress is involved fire contol system is by far the better card. You are correct that any action, free or othwise cant be performed while stressed without a pilot ability (tyco)or other card (primed thrusters) allowing it

As fire control system doesn't specify the tl gained as by an "action" it still works while stressed. As far as keyan goes either is fine because he spends the stress in the attack and shouldn't have it next turn.

lt's a bit pricey but push the limit and kanan is a good combination for ibtsam too. Kanan clears the stress on a white manuver allowing 2 actions every turn. If you want to be really sneaky stick to hera on the bwings and throw that combo on a ezra/sabine shuttle for a pita turtle or squirrely as heck box shaped xwing (use sabines ability, ptl off it for your action and take the stress, then white/green manuver to clear the stress)

Thanks for your reply! I didn't really get your last part? pita turtle ? with sabine shuttle you mean the "orange" tie fighter?

Pita= pain in the a$$ and turtle meaning his near on impossible to kill with an evade and his free focus up as a shell. Sabine as in the phantom shuttle from the ghost. I assume you have one as you mentioned using hera/ezra crew.

To be clear i'm talking about putting ptl /kanan on either pilot in the phantom, as 2 seperate options

Ahhh I see. No I don't have the ghost - bought the cards for a few bucks at a games night. Guess thats why I didn't understand you + Im not native english speaker
