HOLYCRAP! I completely forget about the musical parody Love fest in that thread. Truly one of the greatest "unsung" moments in the glorious implosion of Admiral Nelson!

I used to wonder about that myself. Thought it was a bunch of mumbo jumbo. A salty forum user calling Armada dedgaem, just before a bunch of new content came. Crazy thing is...it's true. Admiral Nelson, classic Ben. All of it. It's all true.

the guy who moaned about Ben was the same dude who reported anyone who said anything he didnt like - it was worth the 24hr ban just to tell him to sod off :)

BladeWing24. Loved that guy. Talked balls but he really made my day.

This thread reads like the start of a modern Lovecraft story.

"Read this old thread from the before times. You will find horrors undreamt of. Also...showtunes!"

My favorite part was him claiming that he'd talked to a lawyer and was going to sue FFG and several posters who were mocking him.

I'm out of likes already due to the fond memories this thread has inspired.

...and all Ben had to do was pick up the phone and call the lawyer to let him know the RAW on the subject. The lawsuit was dropped the next day, pending a FAQ.

Classic Ben!

That was all a conspiracy by the secret FFG employees on here posting under false identities, in an attempt to run off new players, whose ideologies weren't properly aligned with the will of the Brominatti. An evil group of shadowy game manipulators whose existence was only recently revealed to us by yet another brave whistle blower disguised as a mere troll. A poster whom, I have to add, has also mysteriously been silent ever since just like the infamous Admiral and the bladed one. Who will the next prophet of the impending Armadageddon be? Will we heed their warnings this time? Is anyone safe from this nefarious group of ne'er do wells?

I want a Super Star Destroyer for Christmas

Only a Super Star Destroyer will do

Don't want a Bellator, no dinkey Finalizer

I want a Super Star Destroyer to play with and enjoy
I want a Super Star Destroyer for Christmas
I don't think Santa Claus will mind, do you?
He won't have to use a dirty chimney flue
Just bring it through the front door
That's the easy thing to do
I can see me now on Christmas morning
Creeping down the stairs
Oh what joy, what surprise
When I open up my eyes
To see a SWM20 Executor standing there

Are'nt we supposed to do this by new year's eve?

Master of the Brominatti.

I take offense to this. It is I, Undeadbro, who is the lord of the Brominatti.

An early start never hurts :D

I'm so happy the Ben thing is still around. It's like our Chuck Norris.

Guys, you forgot about the #FlotillaWars. Back when lifeboats were unstoppable and not even a ISD with H9 and LS could take one down at close range.

It's also about the time that IFF stopped playing the game.

Wait, so is 'classic ben' to be more used in a punctuation like manner to a statement. Or is it more like a meme idea all of its own, that can stand by itslef? If the former can some one use it in a short statement, to illistrate the ideas that it supposed to punctuate? If the latter, can a definition of solid worth be ascribed to said idea? ( all answer must be in apa form, short pargaph stlye. Min 300 words. This assingment is due by the end of the semester)

Oh man this made me laugh so hard. I had forgotten all about that.

I'm pretty sure I was one of the people who helped get it started but I've been in and out of the forum's lately so I may be wrong but the original generally involves complaining or pointing out something broken but completely made up and following up with "classic Ben." It started as a way to show how unreasonable people were being especially during the dark times...

Example: I actually managed to beat Ben once. I made it home and wanted to brag to my wife. Ben had slept with her and I lost all of my armada ships in the divorce. Classic Ben.

Ben slept with my wife too. And I've never even been married. Classic Ben.
