You guys making it to US Nationals (or GenCon - though I won't be at that one)?

I wish, but no. Wanted to go to GenCon this year but with a new house, kid on the way, and other expenses so far this year I couldn't justify the substantial cost of GenCon or the travel fees for elsewhere.

Worlds being in Minnesota is a bit more tempting, but that's a week before my wife's due date and if I missed the birth of my child due to plastic spaceships, I'd never forgive myself.

Maybe next year. Here's hoping, anyways.

Yea, Legion just looks too disappointing to me. There's already enough 28mm squad based games out there with cooler models and more variety available.

I was hoping for 10mm to fill the table with AT-ATs and snowspeeders to trip said AT-ATs.

I have to admit I was too. But if we can get a 40k style game with an updated take on more progressive rules aside from "move your stuff, shoot your stuff, charge your stuff", I could be very happy with it.

I could get on board with that, but I almost feel like this would be better in the WarmaHordes style. Pick a badass hero to lead your grunts and a few big things against another hero surrounded by grunts and big things.

And even then, Clone Wars era might work better just to get more variety of units. Nothing against the GCW era, but the ground game isnt as varied as CW.

And then it's just Imperial Assault vs. Mode.

Just in time to barely qualify for this week, I updated a whole bunch of articles lately , most noticeably the VSD and Offensive retrofit articles (included Disposable Capacitors). I did some other updates earlier in the week but it wasn't as big a deal so I didn't go out of my way to mention it.

Keeping everything earlier updated to now is time-consuming, but in the long run I think it will pay off in terms of ease of use.

I also updated MY squadrons today! So many Toryn Farr references! So many!

Checklist article will hopefully spring up by the end of this week, ending that for us all. I haven't STARTED it yet, but..... tonight? Tuesday night? One of those, that's for sure.
