Is there usually a delay between when a game on upcoming products changes from on the boat to shipping and out of stock to in stock? I see the core set now shows as shipping, but still shows as not in stock. I suppose it is possible they sold out in the time between me looking this morning and now.

The term 'shipping', confusingly enough, refers to the period between a product coming *off* the ship and when it arrives with retailers. So the fact it's shipping implies that retailers (including FFG) won't have stock yet. On the Upcoming page it should change to 'available now', or something similar, when it hits shelves, or it might just disappear off there in the case of reprints, I can't remember, in either case check availability at that point.

I believe it stays on as In Stores Now for a reprint.

Yeah its all confusing. "On the Boat" refers to the time it has left the factory but before they have started shipping to retailers. That can include time sitting in crates in a warehouse before FFG decides to ship it.

This is very good to know. I now see how the products that were green last week and listed as now shipping are now blue and available in stores and on the website. So hopefully next week will be my time to order a couple of core sets and get started with this game finally!!

Yep, same here. Seems odd that if the game requires you to have the core set before you can get the other sets, then they should always have the core set in print. Perhaps I just caught it at a bad time, but I will be checking back again later to see if today is the day!

I'm hoping to see lots of changes to that upcoming screen now that Gencon is over. I can only refresh it with no change so many times before a deep resounding sadness sets in

Imagine how I felt when I checked this morning and saw that the light blue ones were gone and then saw that this core set was still listed as shipping.

For this game line its generally 2 weeks from shipping to in stores. It should flip next Thursday.

Edit: thats for new releases, there may be more play on reprints, which I generally do not check.

Well then I can only hope for a faster turn around! I checked a slew of gaming stores in my region to no avail.

Okay now they are just teasing me. Dunwich reprint is now available on the site. I was so excited when I saw the blue, until I realized it was not for the set I wanted. Any day now....

i think condition change of core pack is 9/1 (update of core pack is 8/16)

Yes!!! Finally showed as light blue and finally in stock. Ordered two of them and I am so happy to finally get a chance to play this!!!
