I am about to head on a flight to GenCon. I have a small laser level that I use to help check firing arcs. I searched online and it appears to be legal to bring in a carry-on, but I was wondering if anyone has had issues bringing theirs, or if they were able to pass through security with it?
TSA and Laser Levels
I have brought a small laser pen for X-Wing on flights a few times now and have not yet had a problem. I worry about it a little each time, though. I do store it in its protective packaging, but I don't know if that makes a difference.
Pop out the batteries. I've taken through lasers and they've asked about them and I explain they don't work. Push the button and they just waved me through. (Granted the laser pointer I was transporting was a bit stronger than normal ones, like set matches on fire strong)
Army Painter. Very cheap and good
