Uhg. I have such luck with GenCon.

• About eight years ago we returned from GenCon to a blown fridge. It was warmer inside than out. Shrimp...smelled pretty badly.
• Forgotten passports added nearly three hours to the drive one year as we had to return home to get them.
• 2016 we had a fuse problem the night before departure threatening our journey

This year, our less than two year old fridge has decided cold is too difficult and is doing a slow thaw. Anybody else experience such consistent failure on their annual trek or vacation? Misery loves company!

Nooooo! Sorry to hear about that. Sounds like your fridge got a crit and Kylo showed you the Dark Side.

At this point you've got to start planning for these kinds of things. Such is life.

I can't relate any similar experiences, but you have my sympathy.

Yeah. I was actually getting kinda anxious about the trip. Feeling rather relieved now... Just unloaded a cooler of food to a friend and been shopping for a new fridge. Think the wife will be disappointed by the lack of extras...
