So, with store champs wrapping up, and regionals on the horizon, something sticks out to me. Nationals is next week, *before* regionals. So when regionals do take place (sometime around November perhaps, will there be another Nationals in early 2018? Will the pass for Nationals given at Regionals have to be used after worlds 2018?

Nationals are Free-Floating on Dates. They can be almost anytime during the year.

For example, Australian Nationals are this week, but in the US, its North American Championships at GenCon, where US Nationals are in September, I believe... As are Canadian ones...

Regional Byes are always to be used at the next Nationals - whether that is next Week or Next Year... As long as its the Next one.

Same as Nationals Byes to Worlds will apply to the next Worlds... Whether that's the same year or Next year, depending on time...

Store - > Regionals -> Nationals -> Worlds still kind of applies... But really, Store-> Regionals --> Worlds are the only ones that have set time frames.

(And the Continental Championships, too. They're set to big Cons in the US and Europe, as those are the only two)

So you might have a season where Nationals 2017 are in the middle of Store Champs 2017 - this will mean only regional byes from 2016 would apply. Any Regional Byes awarded for Regionals 2017 would apply to Nationals 2018...

More importantly, I think winning regionals gives you a spot at Worlds, so you don't fight with the rest of us peasants trying to get a ticket.

This applies to the US and Canada only, I believe.

Regionals last year got you a spot at worlds, yes. I only know this because someone screwed up and let me win one....
