Small Ship Pegs

By stackeffect, in Star Wars: Armada

I just picked up another Raider, and the peg seems to have twisted, which causes the ship to face about 10 degress off of straight forward.

Has anyone attempted to fix this issue with warm water? I might go for it this evening - wondering if anyone else has successfully done this on any of the small ships (CR90, Neb, Raider).

Thanks!

Just played around trying to twist it when the peg wouldn't come out of the stand, and now it is jammed in the correct position. Still interested in an answer for a Neb I have at home.

Boiling hot water should do the trick. I haven't done that, myself, with Armada miniatures but it works fine with other plastic miniatures. The paints that FFG uses are also pretty sturdy so I wouldn't think that they would wash off either.

I've got 4 Raiders and they all are cocked to the left. I just thought all Raiders were that way.

No, that is a medical condition. Please see your doctor...

Although hot water may correct the problem. Be careful with the tie style wings on the Raider and the ventral fins on the Neb B. They are glued in place, and that glue will remain ridgid even as the model itself softens.

Best of luck.
