Wandering Warriors article mentions release for fourth quarter of 2017. Unless I got that wrong, it means October+.

Funny thing, until very recently and despite that article, the spanish website still had a "third quarter release"&"in production" sign. Today, it got a september 2017 and "in transport". So did The Path to Carcosa. Or The Dunwich Legacy that I still need to buy. Er... back on topic, anyone dares to believe in a (late) september release? While the spanish site tends to be accurate, it's not unrealistic to expect changes as the weeks go by.

Man, september can turn into a silly month: 3 L5R cores + 1 The Dunwich Legacy + 1 The Path to Carcosa (+ 1 optional Omens of the Deep)...

I've been told by my local shop in Italy to expect it by the first week of October, so it can be even earlier in September in the US

I spoke to a friend of mine who works for a local hobby chain and he predicted a mid-late September. Given that he purchases stock for his store, I think his idea of when to expect it carries some merit.

They could have said Q4 to be conservative. Which is worse? They say Q4 and it shows up in September, before the date? Or they Say Q3, and then it doesn't show up until October?

There is a bit of symmetry there.

We lost the CCG on Sept. 11th, 2015. A Friday that we were waiting for the Scorpion previews to drop for a new set that ended up being given away.

And this week, almost two years later, we are waiting for Scorpion previews and the new game will reach some of our grubby little hands at Gencon with a wide release within the next two months.

The little kid in me is excited for the wild ride we're all about to take.

The big kid in me is super excited for my first Gencon and can barely wait to see what comes next.

several of the onlines have it down for 23rd November. Though they might be being conservative..

A local guy is swearing up and down a game shop he regularly goes to says August 26th. I'm expecting that we get an announcement at GenCon (I believe we were told as much in the last #l5rlive) and the excited fanboy part of me wants to say mid to late September as the earliest.

The L5RHonored event in London is a pre-release. So release definitely won't happen before September 3rd. They said in the last L5R live that they will announce it on Thursday.

FFG announces in GenCon that they have sold the game to Wizards of the Coast.

I have been thinking october release for a while but won't complain for getting it earlier. I already have the money saved for it and september would mean less waiting time after all the GenCon news.

I'm guessing September 30. Not only will this get players a month before Winter Court, I will be out of town and unable to pick up my cores.
