British Armada Players - Make Yourself Known
Gink sending messages from his ISB holding cell...
Paging @Plagueis and @GammonLord .
Aye, Im about - currently in Exeter, due to head to the top of Scotland (Thurso area) in Sept, then possibly basing myself out of London the month after that. Already scoping out the London armada scene...
@SmurfWedge , @Lord Preyer , @TheCallum , myself and a few others are based in South(west) London and play at Wandsworth. There's another group who play near Mornington Crescent but I'm not sure if or who they are on here.
I'm based Farnborough, Hampshire, UK.
I'm based in South East London, and there are a few players down this way.
My FLGS (Warboar Games, Bromley) hosts regular Armada tournaments which are a great way to meet new players.

Plus, they are hosting a tournament on Sun 20th Aug this weekend!

And hosting a big event, the London Masters at the end of October:
Known... Living the nomadic life of a lonely North Norfolk-based Armada-er.
There's a few of us in Chelmsford Bunker (
http://www.chelmsfordbunker.co.uk/
) with fleets... games are sporadic as we all have multiple systems we like playing though
Admiral Gallanteer of the Rebellion reporting from Yorkshire, god's own county.
Edited by GallanteerAlso play XW, Rebellion, Imperial Assault and other none SW games but FFG currently own my wallet (gave up on 40k after 25 years a few years ago).
Edited by GallanteerI'm in Aylesbury. There are a few occasional players here, but not a lot of Armada goes on in Aylesbury, just 2 or 3 games a year.
I'm in York along with @Jammers .
We play at the York Garrison Club and the York Wargame Society .
And now a shameless plug for our FLGS Armada event on 26 August. Sold 8 so far with another 2-4 probable.
There's a bunch of us around northamptonshire, the only real Hampton...
They running Armada at The Games Shop in Aldershot?
I went there a few years ago for another tabletop game and the locals were really nice people.

Se London as well! I can highly recommend warboar tornies too, and more generally they are a great shop.

Whereabouts?
If you can travel there's a few of us playing at Athena Games in Norwich, including the store championship this Saturday.
There are a couple of us based in Leicester. Although the games are infrequent unfortunately.
Weston-super-Mare: probably 4-8 regular to intermittent players and nearby Bristol & Cardiff have good scenes with plenty of players.
Sheffield, South Yorkshire here!
We've got a small community building over here in Worcester

It is quite good store with a lot of space and many games going on. Armada is underrepresented though. I play there from time to time, mostly with same opponent. If you are close and fancy a game send me PM and we can arrange sth.
We had Store Championship and with guest players we hit 8 people, so not too bad. I'm sure there will be some more tourneys, hopefully Q3 and Q4. I'll post update on forum when I find out.

Sorry. I'm from Texas - which isn't exactly local. But I like to use tabletop games as an excuse to travel.
Went to a Babylon 5: ACTA tournament there years ago. Thinking about another trip for Armada and wondered if I could return there or if I should look for another shop.
Thanks!
I thought Brits had a strong preference for obfuscation...

We sort of do. But it is a bit more complicated than that.....
