There is a TI rpg already if I rember correctly Merctol Rex was full of dangerous stuff left behind from the overthrow. And there was a very international settlement shangia police vibe with all the major polity providing money and people.

Not sure it's available in print unless you want to pay through the nose on secondary markets. There doesn't seem to be an available PDF for it either. FFG should just put out the PDF and then pay whomever comes up with the best Genesys homebrew to expand it to book length.

Edit: well, unless the first TI RPG is bad ...

Yeah, the original TI rpg was terrible. To the point that they have actually come out and said that it is non-canonical.

I'm primarily interested in the Great Race stats. There's otherwise plenty of lore included with the boardgame, and anything absent can be made up to suit.

I have started a thread to discuss races HERE if anyone is interested in joining.

I am planning on using a combo of the rules in GRPG and existing races in SWRPG.

In terms of galaxy planetary placement, I'll be going with the randomised one determined by my group's "complete setup", just as I will be doing for story progression and major conflicts/deals that happen in the background.
