Some deckbuilding and standalone questions.

By tsuruki, in Arkham Horror: The Card Game

I got the Core set for my birthday and after playing the first 2 incidents I've went and got the 2 standalone's. What I'm wondering about is deckbuilding.

Is there at this point a point to deckbuilding other then upgrading at this point?

The rules state you can take 2 of each player card but a certain online deckbuilder seems to limit some card's to 1-off's (For example Holy rosary and Shriveling), is this a mistake or is there a rule that these should be 1-off's? MY bad, found the collection manager.

Two cards with the same title count as the same card for the purpose of deckbuilding right? (I.E, you cant have 2 lower level copies of a card as well as 2 upper level right?)

The Carnivale standalone expansion costs 3 experience to play, is it a hard adventure?

1) If you have all of the first expansion cycle, there are a number of zero-level cards that expand your initial deck-building options. If you have a second core you have a second copy of all the class cards you only had one of before, so you can make your deck more consistent as to which cards you draw. With just a single core set there are very little options re: deckbuilding.

2)Yes, that is correct, limited by title so you can either have two lower level versions, two upgraded version or one of each.

3)I don't know about other peoples experiences, but I've found both standalone scenarios were pretty difficult. But you're guaranteed to get one decent story asset per person at the end of Carnevale.
