The Ion Storms of the Hook Nebula
November 4th
Special Rules: During Squad Building, players will not select obstacles and must select 2 special ion cloud obstacles provided by the hosting store. During Setup players may not place obstacles at Range 2 of the player edges and Range 1 of the neutral edges or any other obstacle. Ion clouds obstruct attacks as normal. Attackers cannot attack ships beyond Range 2 when obstructed by an ion cloud. If in ion could is overlapped by a maneuver template or ship base, the ship rolls 1 attack die; on a [focus] result, that ship suffers 1 damage and receives an Ion Token.
The Alderaan Graveyard
November 11th
Special Rules: During obstacle placement, players will each place one planetary fragment token, which cannot be closer than Range 1 from any board edge, or Range 2 from another planetary fragment. After both are placed, players will place three unique obstacles—selected as in standard X-wing—which cannot be closer than Range 1 from any other obstacle or any board edge. Therefore, after obstacle placement there should be two planetary fragments and six other obstacles on the board. Planetary fragments are considered asteroids for all game effects, but may not be targeted by seismic torpedoes.
