Hey guys found an awesome build using 4 large bases, how does one fly that many without crashing into things? Using Lambda with collision. Thanks for the help!
How do you fly 4 large ships?
Are you really flying 4 lambda's? I think I would consider the U-wing, they're a little more maneuverable. The issue with the lambda's are the hard turns. There's only 1, and it's a red maneuver. I think the way you would fly it is either a firing squad, 4 lined up in a row and joust your opponent, or fly 2 in front, 2 in back, in a box formation. that would make it hard to get behind them. And you can use the stop maneuver for another round of firing. I'm very interested to see how this game would go
Yeah im running 4 shuttles, not looking to change my ships, but yeah I guess a box would make sense.
If they all had FCS or an easy way to get modifiers without neeeding actions, not sure how honestly, I would suggest bumping them into each other to control arcs and slow movements as much as possible. When I was playing with two YV-666 and Fenn I did that alot and it's a great strategy, unfortunately u can't have k4 on your shuttles... and 4 ships is different than 2 and Lambda are not YV's.... but perhaps it would still work. However I don’t really advise it if you can't get those modifiers unless you really need to bump to control arc or prevent someone from getting behind you. Just for curiosity sake, what do the lambdas have?
I support this list... whatever it is.
I've flown 3 and ideally I try to get the opponents caught in a circular conga-line , so my ships are constantly banking or stopping in the mess. Is it tough to pull off and can it be beaten? Yes...but you're flying 4 shuttles, dammit.
Edited by mamajamma21I wrote "conga" twice somehow lol

Thats not a bad idea, that would help with the movement like a whale!
