I was wondering if l5r has Naval combat rules? im sure i remember something about being added to mass combat, but for the life of me i cant seem to find them.

I think they're in Sword and Fan, though I can't check right now.

They're not in S&F. I checked Book of Water. They talk about naval combat but I didn't see any mass battle rules. If I spot them I'll pass it on.

You guys will be surprised, but naval combat rules are in the core rules of Mass Battle. It is just a bunch of unique battle events tho, so don't expect much.

wow i feel stupid, id read the core rules. obviously not seen the naval stuff, and just took it they were in another book.

While not official, you may want to take a look at the naval combat rules in 1st Edition 7th Sea. As seafaring is an important aspect of the game, they are well developped and thought out. Both systems are rather alike, especially compared to 1st Edition L5R, and can be easily adapted.

The PDF version of the 7th Sea books are quite cheap given the recent 2nd Edition.
