No, there's no Scorpion deck as of yet, as they are biding their time and gathering their forces.

No Spies at Court in Crab.

No Assassination in Unicorn.

These deck lists are weird haha.

The splash of Dragon in Phoenix is actually something I was considering already.

These decks basically confirm card counts. The card breakdown in a core is as follows

Otomo Courtier, Seppun Guardsman, Miya Mystic, Wandering Ronin are 3 of cards. All other non province neutral cards are 2 of cards. All other cards are 1 of cards.

So 3 cores gives you at least 2 playsets of all neutral cards

I do find it interesting that they recommend using Pilgrimage for the 2nd Void province for Phoenix, rather than Shameful Display. I can only assume their intent is to take advantage of the additional defense and to synergize with ring shenanigans. However, I'm pretty sure I would really prefer the additional honoring opportunity that Shameful Display provides, even if its province strength is only 3.

EDIT: I'm also really surprised that Crane is the only deck (so far) they recommend including Outwit in.

Remember, Outwit requires a courtier. I'd have to go back through the lists, but I don't think the other clans have enough courtiers (outside of scorpion probably).

That's true. For some reason I was thinking Phoenix had a stronger Courtier than they do, but it's just that their other characters are so balanced.

Crab are splashing Scorpion - it makes sense. If you can't win, Cheat. Always worked for me!

That's true. For some reason I was thinking Phoenix had a stronger Courtier than they do, but it's just that their other characters are balanced. Curious to see what Meddling Mediator is/can do though, that would at least mean an additional courtier possibly. If nothing else, they're enough to Outwit a Moto Horde (not like THAT takes much, dumb barbarians).

I noticed that too. I'll be interested to see what Lion cards support the Scorpion suggested deck.

Most clans have 3 courtier cards in faction, with Crane (7), Dragon (1) and Crab (1) as the current outliers.

Probably For Greater Glory which can combo well with Ambush. Honored Blade to help recover some honor loss from other actions. Guidance of Ancestors is nice, and re-usable. Ready for Battle is generally useful as well. Maybe Sashimono and Stand Your Ground just because...

I've been splashing Lion in just about everything, so I'm not surprised. They have good conflict cards that cost 1 pip. Dragon is my other common splash.

I was surprised the Crane list doesn't run Cloud the Mind, considering their splash to Phoenix gives them six shugenja, but after comparing it to the Phoenix list I don't find it so odd.
