Setting up Tabletop Simulator for l5r

By j-mart, in Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game

Hey y'all,

It seems like the place to play online is Tabletop Simulator these days. I've seen some twitch videos, but can anyone point me to instructions on how to get it all set up, build decks, etc?

Thanks,

Joel

This would be much appreciated

I've dumped hundreds of hours into TTS playing Star Wars Destiny. Basically how it works is you make your initital purchase via steam and once this game comes out they should release a free download to allow the game and the entire current card pool.

Unfortunately it wont be up till the game is released so we will just have to wait!

Go to the l5r discord. I will link it later if someone else doesn't.

It's actually surprisingly good if a little frustrating.

TTS is garbage for this game. Way too complicated and not user friendly for setup at all.

I actually think it works really well. There is a great mod for it already, the l5r discord is the way to go for some help. Anyone interested though can add me on steam and i would be glad to help you out.

cbl.swearbear- is my steam name

I've never used TTS - but I have used Gempukku and OCTGN.

I really wish FFG would just make an online version of their LCG's like Gempukku was - a dedicated environment for this game rather than some physics simulator that tries to hard to do everything and requires you dump hours into figuring out how to actually set it up lol

Agreed. While I don't mind using TTS, I have always hoped that I would someday see some of FFGs Games in a PC format. I would love a Twilight Imperium PC game that was built from the ground up to play on the PC... one can dream I suppose :P

I'd even pay full retail for it all over again to have the copy on pc too :\
