I cannot accept the tongue part because in forums you should be using fingers to write. Unicorn or not. 
About the memory thing:
1- memorize 3 names instead: Altan, Sar, Nai. Make sure to mention the 3 when talking about Shinjo Altansarnai-ue.
2- call her Golden Rose, which is what the name means. Still foreign to those who speak japan... rokugani but those who speak mongo... moto say that.
3- call her by her Clan Champion title or the alternate "Our Trailblazing Leader".
Also assume that no one expects you to pronounce the name correctly when you don't even know the language. I pronounce everything in spanish bikos ai nou guat aiam duin. Or so I want to tell myself.
To finish, don't take this post seriously. At all. Ok, except this last paragraph. You can take this paragraph seriously.

When the first Unicorn fiction already makes it canon that the character's name is hard to pronounce (at least for that excellent Crane courtier) you know you don't have a strong case.

People here, who know no japanese, have no issues with Hotaru, Kachiko, Ujimitsu, O-Ushi, Kwanchai,...

Well I have had more exposure to Japanese names (mostly due to anime) than to Mongolian ones.
Also, I have heard that Japanese and Spanish are pronounced somewhat similarly, so, if that is correct, I should have good reason to have less trouble with those names than with Altansarnai, since I don't even know how to begin pronouncing that.
