Hi, this is what I came up with for a tournament. I am thinking about dropping the Engine Techs on the Demolisher for Flechette Torpedos, Kallus and Impetuos on one of the Raiders, as well as Solar Corona instead of Dangerous Territory.

Thoughts? How do the squadrons look?

I like this overall. I'd keep ET on Demo. If you want FTs I'd put them on a Raider not a Glad since it doesn't have black AS. I personally love Kallus and Impetuous. Dangerous Territory is a solid choice with the fast maneuverable ships you've got. Fel's flying circus supported by Jamming Fields could be very effective but I've never tried it myself or flown against it.

Hey Doppel!

First off, great game yesterday! Had a blast, even though I got blasted haha.

As far as the fleet goes, that VSD has a huge target on it's head. It is a big chunk of points, including your admiral. It also is the anchor of your fleet, the piece that will most likely get exposed as your other ships want to flank (Gladiator) or hide behind this juicy target until your enemy is committed to sinking it to keep threat off themselves before striking (Raiders).

That said, it's a risky fleet. You stick out a 136 point chin and let your opponent punch it, and hope you punch back harder. If you don't, there is no way that VSD is speedy or maneuverable enough to pull away, you are committed to the slugging match win or lose.

Which is all well and good until you face a heavy bomber fleet with intel to ignore Soontir and the advanced's, and you are throwing jamming field neutered anti-squadron at them as they bomb your VSD into submission. Obviously this is worst case, but you need to watch out for that one.

Hey Broba!

I give all the praise to my black die and the obstacle that saved the gladiator's butt.

Yeah Bombers will kinda make me sad. But speaking about Soontir, even with intel, should he not trigger on a bomber that is attacking a ship? Thanks for the heads up.

I also have this variant B of the list, where I considered Ozzel instead with Relentless and Comms net instead of the jamming field:

Soontir will still trigger if your opponent attacks ships but with intel they can move out of engagement with him then bomb your ships.
