Squall Rule Confirmation

By Shadoq, in Star Wars: Armada Rules Questions

Hello everyone,
I'm getting set to play my Quasar for the first time.
Just want to make sure what I have below is the correct sequence before I employ it.

Quasar is equipped with Squall Title card.
Quasar has a Squadron command dial.

Quasar activates and does it's Squall move. Up to 3 squadrons move up to distance 2 without ending engaged.
Quasar THEN does it's Squadron Command dial. 3 of the squadrons it activates were "Squalled" previously. They can now move their full move, shoot, and end engaged.

Is this the correct sequence?

Thanks

Yes

"When" activating means that it happens at the start of the trigger sequence - activating, in this case.

So you pick Squall to Activate. You are now at the Start of the activation Sequence, so you resolve the Squall card.

Then you move on to the next part of the Sequence - Revealing Command Dial. Its a Squadron, so you then begin to Resolve that.

The Squall "move" does not activate the squadrons, so their sliders are never moved, and you are able to activate them with that command.

Side note: squall is really great for moving squads that make other squads better in combat, like howlrunner, Denger, Rhymer and jendon. Saves activating them just to add passive effects to all the other squads.
