can I claim an assist??
can I claim an assist??
On my radar at the moment:
JJ- inclined to believe it for all the reasons mentioned before. Still worth looking at and I'm hoping we have a gunsmith that can clear him (who themselves would need to be cleared).
Rocmistro- Quite aggressive
WigTii- Quite defensive
No real reads at the moment and definitely nothing worth changing votes over. And as usual, Pod is doing his best to make me want to hang him.

And your hypothesis hinges on JJs telling the truth,
Do you accept JJ as your leader??
So by leading the town I wouldn't be your leader as well?
Also, one doesn't need to post often to be a leader, one must just post with meaning...something I've proven to do game after game, it's time people listened.

@PodRacerI challenge you to be clear this game. Being cryptic only helps the scum out.
If you are town and we lynch you because of your cryptic posts, you've put us down a townie and wasted a Day.
Apart from one nonsense post in response to yours, im really trying to tone it down! All my questions are gamey or in good spirits.
Dont worry im not gonna let the day be wasted.
Whats your stance on the Madaghmire Hypothesis? think we could be dealing with a few cops?- i missed this link first time round, but now you have mentioned it id like to explore it more
Id like to trust JJ, but im just not that way inclined just now, however i dont want to hold him back if he wants to lead... I actually quite like this new grittier JJ- even if he refers to himslf as 'one' now =)
Final post until tomorrow.
I don't think that the bowels of Coruscant would have a cop. The area is overrun with gangs and it follows its own set of rules. A gunsmith and maybe a few other roles makes sense, but not a cop.
The only thing I'm definitely certain of at this time is that tomorrow I need to convince my fellow townies I'm one of them since its apparent that the issues I raised today in an effort to flush out the scum seemed to have worked against me.

There is no reason at all to include a miller if we dont have a cop.
Hey guys just got back in, I just got done driving for 3 hours so I'm gonna zonk and then give the thread a proper read through...
Sorry, or an item that serves that function.

Could be a misleading role as a named town or could be a tracker miller.
Guys, time is ticking and we barely had conversations. Speak up people, this is wildly quiet.

But then why bother with miller at all? Just tracker would work. And without some kind of faction detection, theres no reason for the role to be in play
I'm looking forward to hearing toads thoughts, also Broba's.

Tracker Miller is always shown to have visited the person killed, so it would kind of tell this person as scum.
Otherwise, the miller without a detection role is simply there so that everyone believes there is an investigator, and if none show up the miller could be taken as a fake claim, so misleading town AND scum.
I guess. Occums razor tho
At this point it's day 1, practically a shot in the dark. I've been trying to hopefully weed something useful out of the conversation. If I had to vote right now I would probably go Wiigtii.
The logic being- Visovics and Roc were both pretty aggressive early, and both have votes sitting on wiig right now. If Wiig turns up scum, IMO we verify them town because of that early vote. If he turns up town, we lynch Visovics and see if HE turns up scum ![]()

I'm fine with that as a plan, let's hope my guts are right
Alright guys I'm caught up now.
Right now Vis and Wig are at the top of my list...
Vis is playing hard like usual but it feels a bit too sloppy, could be his gut... or him trying to start a train and get people looking away from him
Wig took that vote (from Vis) very seriously, and got way too defensive. He's also been doing a lot of subtle influencing. I've never played with him so I don't know his style.
When it comes down to it I stick to my golden rule...He who smealt it... Dealt it... im wary of people who start pointing fingers immediately and try to lead the discussion.
I understand that without these initial "skirmishes" this game wouldn't work and that's what makes D1 so **** hard.
My gut says that one of those two is scummy. I'm just not sure which one...
Pod is of course always on my list... I think he likes being on everyone's list
A question about the rules; is it required that we lynch somebody on Day 1?

No.

ugh... belly twisting laughter XD

let's see if some time away affected your ability to lie
On 8/12/2017 at 8:45 AM, WigTii said:I can assure you it did not. I have nothing to hide here, and I won't be making the mistakes now that I made then because of my noobness. You can trust me, if you are a townie in this game. If you are scum, I can understand why you would move against me. You remember my "novel" near the end of my first game. You know that I'm quite deliberate in my analysis of who I think is town and who I think is scum. You know I caught hints that were subtlety dropped, like yours, Doc. The townies here will need my abilities if we are to succeed.
I won't retaliate against you for your vote for me. It's not my way.
Here is where all of my posts from yesterday began with Vis's vote on me and my reply. I spent most of my time analyzing his motivations for that vote, and what I believe to be a possible scum plan placed in the open for all to see. I did the same type of analysis my last game with my famous "novel." And if you look at what I wrote, you will find that I did identify one of the scum present in that game.
But it was too late. The town had already lynched its own and we lost.
History seems to be repeating itself here.
I'm debating whether I should claim. Doing so might have negative consequences for the town, and I certainly don't want that. But not doing so has its own risks. I'll decide as today evolves. In the meantime I must act on what I believe to be true.

No, but it's not good, specially in D1. Exceptions happen certain situations, but that would be later in the game, in a Lylo
