Been stalling because I was hoping to get everyone to chime in before declaring myself so I could see who (if anyone) was lying about their roles.
NOTE! I have a busy day at work today. Since I seem to be on the chopping block, I would appreciate suspending any kind of hammering until after I have a chance to look at things at end of day.
So that leaves us with two cops, which is definitely not believable. Toad, Roc, one of you is lying. I'm inclined to think it's Toad

This is interesting, you were still waiting, so you investigated someone that hasn't claimed yet, otherwise there would have been a counter-claim already. Also, this is the second time Toad is seen as the most slippery of the two cop roles.

Im back. To finish my train of thought from my last post, I was the number one suspect until I claimed. If someone wanted the attention to stay on me by framing me for Mad, having the focus taken away from me isn't in their best interest. So, who now is still pointing the finger at me and claiming I'm scum.

He claims when he realizes the way to not get lynched and use his role is to claim, your claiming without need is more worrying

I've been saying this since yesterday but it's claim is infinitely more believable.
My guess is the vengeful part is cause he is scum and wants us not to hammer him.

Also, I made the rookie-ego mistake of trying to be the hero by single-handedly waiting so as to possibly be able to flush out both scum (assuming 2) by catching both the liar and who he was most likely to have been linked up with based on previous night's activities. I've been able to do similar things with both Resistance and Battlestar Galactica (both of which have the 'guess-the-traitor' conceit) but this game works a bit differently - for several reasons. That was a mistake, admittedly. Live and learn.

Answering this question literally kept me awake last night.
I'm going to sit on that for a little while longer. I'm going to see if something shakes out from my role claim that we can use. There's no pressing danger...we still have 2 full days before night and no one is in danger of getting lynched (except perhaps me...and if sitting on this grants me a stay of execution, that's only good for townies).
That being said...if anyone has anything to own up to...now's a good time :-D
