You didn't even answer my question. Where are you pulling this idea? You're just pulling ideas out of thin air and calling them "progress."
as iv stated its based on the theory jjs reveal increases the likelyhood of this being a bit of a night action reveal flavoured game (cops), misleading roles, scum or third party. and some scum.
No turbo train, I believe JJ, and that belief means something. It means if I believe he is town, he isn't picking town targets on purpose and that by following him I have eliminated 2 town targets (he and myself) from the pool of lynchables.

So you picked a random role and started a discussion on it? This is pointless conjecture and ultimately harmful to the town. Reading through your post, you are once again posting mostly nonsense, distracting the town with theories out of left field, and attempting to misconstrue statements. I'm not going to tolerate this behavior again. Even you are town, you're primed to become a major distraction. I'm about 2-3 more posts away from changing my vote to you.
Theme of the day seems to be pick a noob and squeeze it,
I wouldnt expect a two time winner like yourself not to make the right choice.
infact i emplore the others to join you, at least then its game on.
Youve skirted around this game so far, but right on queue with the off topic questions or the lynch pod flavour. Very little else.

I could say the same about you and JJ. You've contributed very little besides casting doubt on JJ, which he himself provided. And now you're throwing shade at me for "not contributing." Sorry that I have a Soldier in the ICU. I'm here now because I've finally gotten a small window.
Now I'm not saying I have a good read on you. You are just fast becoming a distraction. If you're town, the scum will attempt to use you as a scapegoat starting tomorrow because you're already suspicious, which will result in a bad hanging on day two.
Here's what I'm trying to get through to you: I don't give a crap about the possible roles right now. I just don't. I will care come tomorrow when I have more to work with. The only time I will care today is when you've got someone is at -2. That is the only situation where it will be worthwhile talking about roles.
any minute jjs gonna come in here and want an explanation. if he points at you,id have to back him
or he might not sign in again before end of day.
if im a distraction, say which player has tried to benefit from that? @CaribbeanNinja maybe?

I'm not sure why I'm fixated on this, but I'm bringing it up again because it was ignored by Pod in his responses to my post (any apparently by everyone else as well).
More to follow over the course of the evening.
I was questioning @Madaghmire how strongly he believed in his hypothesis set against the background of your daring and fragmented gambit.
Perhaps @TheToad should be here for this too, hes done a bit of floating today
Still, I would have phrased it as "do you accept JJ as our leader".
My list right now
High threat
Nobody yet.
Moderate Threat
JJ- no need to beat a dead horse. I'm inclined to believe him, but he'll stay firmly in this category until I have a credible gunsmith tell me he's clean.
Madaghmire- Been extremely slippery both times he's been scum. I still want justice for JJ, but Mad's given me nothing to indicate he's anything but town.
CNinja- His usual quiet day one self. Nothing suspicious, but nothing actively helping the town either really. Like Mad, he's aggravatingly slippery as scum.
Pod- Actively a distraction, which isn't really out of the norm. Even if he's town, might be our best bet for a day on hanging if for nothing more than end the distractions early.
WigTii- Early defensiveness is looking more like inexperience. Alluding to a power role so early could be a scum play to head off further investigation, but could also just be a noob move. I'm leaning noob for now. Is asking for a full reveal is appropriate at this junction? At this point the target is already on his back, so putting out for the town to evaluate maybe the right move, but I also don't want to start role fishing.
Low Threat
Vis- Drove WigTii into alluding to a power role. Still, it didn't take much and WigTii was being quite defensive
Broba- Don't have a particularly good read for his style, but he's actively trying to contribute in ways that are beneficial to the town.
Toad- Pretty low key, not much of a read.
Norell- Nothing of note. For once he doesn't seem scummy. Wait, is the lack of scumminess a tell?
Rocmistro- Same as Toad. I don't have much of a read. Mostly just questions showing inexperience, which is no surprise.
Completely Clear
Nobody. It's day one.
XD
just hurry up and read the content 'one' =)
bang on.
Just to forewarn @JJs Juggernaut if you want my vote, 00.30 here now, you have me fora couple more hours
3 hours ago, Visovics said:Yeah, but it's been so silent that it's as blind as another read I have on others. And then him defending himself more strongly once my vote was looked at by Cninja who thought there may be something there, and then him fitting me into his "scum hide in the bigger picture", I just fell like my vote has nowhere else to be
My initial reaction to your vote on me was lukewarm. I didn't actually classify your vote on me as a scum move and ratchet up my arguments about it until after I had thoroughly analyzed the conversations surrounding JJ's Miller claim for a second time.
3 hours ago, Madaghmire said:Well, finding a more appropriate scum target would be nice. We have very little to work with thus far. What does your intuition tell you?
I've pretty much put out there what I think already. The Miller is a red-herring and reads scum to me. I was the only person to question it and immediately after I get a vote from Vis. That reads scum too...like he's trying to draw attention away from the Miller and onto someone else.

JJ, in the game I was scum I made this slip up. It happens. I didn't get hung because the "who would be that stupid?!" excuse, flimsy as it was, was enough. However, I know Pod isn't native english. It might seem entirely normal for him to say when you bounce it through the translations. I guess that is my food for thought on this little crack of suspicion.
6 hours ago, WigTii said:I take responsibility for my defensiveness because the town has much to lose if I am lynched.
1 hour ago, Truthiness said:Ugh. I really wish you hadn't written this. You have two votes on you. That's not even remotely threatening. You've now hinted at a power role, though, which paints a giant bullseye on your back for the night kill. After this, I'm inclined to look at your overall play as a result of inexperience. For the future, vague suggestions of a power role benefit no one but the mafia. Without a clear claim, the town doesn't know how to evaluate your claim. The mafia, however, now knows that you're at least something and therefore a decent target for the night kill.
Interpreting my words to mean that I possess a power role is an incorrect reading of my words. I was again referring to the abilities I described about myself in my initial reaction to Vis's vote, namely the deliberateness of my analysis and my ability to catch subtle hints. I said then that "the townies here will need my abilities if we are to succeed." I'm not just tooting my own horn here. A few years ago when I returned to college to complete my BA, I had the opportunity to study one to one with a professor who earned his Doctorate under the guidance of Nobel Laureate Saul Bellow. My professor and I spent half of the semester close reading two pages of Plato's Timaeus. Yeah, that's eight weeks reading two pages...understanding every word, every nuance of those words, and their contexts. I learned how to read microscopically so to speak. It's a skill which (hopefully) serves me well here, and it's something that the town can benefit from, especially since I believe that we don't have a cop in this scenario. So yes, I do feel the town has much to lose if I am lynched.
I also understand that I may have inadvertently painted a target on my back. Given the two votes I have and how I'm currently regarded among those who have shared their assessments of who they think is scummy, it's ranking a bit low among my current concerns. Maybe I'll get lucky and the town Doctor, assuming we have one, will be kind enough to protect me, assuming also I don't get lynched before the day is done.
pompey innit. scum come round here, get knocked spark eight, then we go dayn tayn.
The forum generally recieves english as well as i could be bothered to learn it. Your lucky i dont type like i talk =)
Vis likes to push Hard
il keep my eye on it.
Scum and Town both want to kill me most of the time, so I think I should get the doctors protection if you wanna go there! Im prime N1 target material =)

I hope we have a doctor. We'll find out eventually. =)
