Alright, so ive figured it out. Fairship rebels and now FSR 2 with the wookie, ffg has created maybe some of the most boring matches to watch. So does ffg want to end the stream game? maybe to avoid cheating scandals? I think yes.
Does FFG secretly hate streaming

Why?
I told you. TO AVOID CHEATING SCANDALS

Just as a public service reminder, don't remove tinfoils hats unless advised by qualified medical personnel.

Why do you think that? Because it' possible?!
I think the last few streams contained either scandles or boing games and neither are good showcases. And there are community members who film better... sadly not live then most of the time.
Its only a matter of time before all major tournies are nothing but FSR, Nym, and JM5K. RIP dogfighting, bring turrets and bombs or go home.

I think you are trying to connect two unrelated subjects with a loosely related topic. Personally I find X-wing streams to be rather slow to watch, so I wouldn't notice the difference in any list that comes out in terms of spectating.
Now for streaming this is probably only doable on vassal but have a time limit on planning phase and activation say 1-2 minuets. Planning phase is 2 minuets, each activation is 1 minuet, and attack selection is also 1 minuet. Of course this requires putting more automated codding into vassal to make the format playable but if it could be done streaming would be better.
tell the people streaming to randomize what games get streamed instead of just doing whoever is on top of swiss.
Meanwhile, at FFG Headquarters, an internal email has been sent:
Subject: THEY'RE ON TO US
I think it's more that Rebels have been weak lately, and they originated as a jousty faction. So now they're back in the game with a strong joust list.
Pretty sure the OP was being facetious. Y'all might be taking it a bit too seriously...
I agree
Just wait until two fair ship rebel builds meet in a final. Then we will see a FAQ, because people will fall asleep watching it

You do not even need to randomize it, you can just choose to show more interesting matchups and assign those to the streaming table.

One can only hope, but with the way the forums are these days, you can't rule it out he may have been serious...
