So we have the Battle Reports and Squad sub forums which are solid.

Have they ever had ship specific sub forums?

we don't even have one for tactics etc.

Not to mention each wave comes out with 3-5 ships so there would have to be a several new subforums. It would be too much.

Now there could be a faction (or even a sub-faction) forum that could possibly do the same if not similar thing. That could be a place for Imperial players to share their tactics or Scum players to discover the next big deal.

I like the faction subforum idea.

Yeah, the faction subforums could use very different layouts to represent the different factions.

The rebel one should also be really unorganized. New posts would appear at random places and comic sans would be used freely.

The imperial one should be classified. No one could read any other members threads. Ever.

In the scum one, moderaters should never intervene (so that will just be the same as the main forum I guess)

And that's "56 or so" subforums that most people won't bother to visit, and of those that do about half of them will start in with "You know, that's why there's a Captured TIE Fighter subforum so the T-70 X-Wing subforum doesn't have to go off-topic like this" every time conversation strays just a little bit.

I could almost see Faction-Specific subforums, but even that doesn't really seem like it would be worth it.

One designated to discussion about tactics and tricks would be enough and greatly appreciated. I don't expect it to have much traffic, but it could serve as some kind of archive. The main one we are in now is mostly balance and wave discussion anyway, so collecting the quality threads in a specific sub would be great.
