I like throwing two prototype pilots in my rebel squads and no one can handle it. With low cost, baller dial, and extreme elusiveness, A wings are the best ship to fill some points.

Agreed Awings are super amazing, all amazing super amazing, just only take awings all the time. ALL AWING meta, new kraytcast for the Awing overloards. I love the A-Wing, it is on my top 3 ships to fly in the game. But it just does not have enough red dice, and die to easily. One of my favorite casual list is this:

Snap shot a wings and naked prototypes have enough attack and block potential for their points. Also the aces are some of the best in the game
I'm a big fan with A-Wings. Personally, I don't think they're overpowered and they can find a place in competitive games. The 2 ATK dice for the A-Wing makes it tough to fly them. It takes awhile to melt down opponents and gives them time to take the A-Wings down. For me they're a load of fun and challenge to fly.

well... you can have a 23pt snap juke autothrusters awing with 2 attacks, or for 24pt a striker with LWF and what amounts to double action every turn and 4 attack dice
But then again my best tournament result ever was with 4 Awings, so what am I even saying

I love A-wings, and my A-wings apparently love bombs and Direct Hit cries, because they seem to be drawn to them.

I don't mind the salt, but they have been harping on NPE and balance you think it would be as broke as 40k or even Armada before their batch of nerfs (where Reiken was the commander in I think 80% of the top cut). I mean back in the day where it was Han and Whisper being the source of everyone's misery. But where are those now? The podcast didn't seem to jump on the hate wagon but not they are all in it. I get there are some things that shouldn't be as good as they are but now everything is OP if it wins and the podcasts are starting to sound like the worst of the forums.
The toxicity is rising, yes I believe FFG is responsible for it (all nerfs and no buffs does set a negative tone). So the hostility in the atmosphere I almost don't want to win a tournament because "how dare I use Scum (even though I didn't use Jumpmasters)".
Seriously F-wing and R-wing is the NPE of X-wing.

Jake (from state farm) is one of my favorite pilots in the game. He's so slippery that for a while people would just groan every time I pulled him out for a game.
