Ardus Fury quick doubt

By Rafrox, in Runewars Rules Questions

Hi guys, just a quick one: Ardus Fury, just to make sure I got it right, it add 1 surge to my attacks is that correct?

So if Ardus is attacking a unit with a blight token it means I have 1 instant wound to that unit if a Carrion Lancer is around is that correct?

Thanks

You got it!

Sorry for adding another question here not sure if this is even allowed however I was just preparing my army for a game and I realised that I only have 1 copy of "Reaping Blade" but both me and my friend want to use it.

How to solve this?

If you and your friend are playing a friendly game, ask the friend if it is OK to proxy a copy of it.

If it's for a more organized event or tournament, ask the event organizer if proxies are OK. If they are not allowing proxies at this event, I would ask the other attendees if anyone has a spare they would be willing to lend for the event. It would be a good idea to have an alternate upgrade set up figured out if proxies are not allowed and no one has a copy to lend. If it were me in this situation, I'd let my friend use the Reaping Blade, and find another set up for my army.

Thanks for your answer. I am more inclined to maybe just copy the card in my printer and we both use the same card.. imagine that we both have a core set of the game, it means that each of us have one of each card...the only problem in my case is that only I have the core set so that is the reason there is only 1 "reaping blade". This is such a good upgrade and we both want it :(

So, maybe in official events they will not allow it? How this will be solved?

In this situation, the rules tell you to first pick a faction. Each player receives all upgrades for their faction. Then, you shuffle the remaining neutral upgrades and deal them randomly to each player. Finally, you construct your 100-point army with the upgrades you've been assigned.

I've found that 100 points is too small for Daqan, once they start adding upgrades, so I usually play 110. The problem with that is that Waiqar may not be able to get that high if he is dealt all the wrong upgrade cards.

Thanks. I am still inclined to make a copy of the upgrade and use it both me and my friend. There are plenty of upgrades that have multiple copies due to expansion sets so why not this one right? Cheers

While official tournament rules have not been put out yet, I think it is safe to assume that games are likely to be 200 points, and copied cards would not be allowed.

With that being said, If it's you and a buddy using a single core set at your own kitchen table, then do what ever the two of you feel is fair.
