Hi,

I am trying to find out if there are people in Wisconsin planning to play the LCG when it releases. If so, could you post and let everyone know where you are from? I am from Fond Du Lac, and was hoping to find other players. Is there any better way to find people who plan to play? Also, is anyone aware of any Local Game Stores that are planning on doing a launch event?

There's a Facebook group for Wisconsin L5R players ( I'm at work or I'd link it for you). I'll wager that Gnome Games in Green Bay will support the game in some fashion.

And the Cheese-Heads make themselves known ?

There are going to be boatload in MKE. Games Universe in Franklin and Brookfield for sure.

Not entirely sure about BGB locations.

I believe that Colosseum Games in Kenosha will be supporting the game as well, though I sounds like there will be other stores closer to you.

A couple of us in Madison are looking to get back into it. I asked at a store today about organized play and the person wasn't sure whether they were going to get it but a number of people have apparently preordered. I plan to check in with Misty Mountain Games here as well.

Thanks for all the suggestions. I stopped in Oshkosh today at Adventure Games and I was told that they ordered a Launch Kit for release. I would like to find a group in the Appleton, Oshkosh, Fond Du Lac area that could meet at Adventure Games if possible. If I have to travel farther to play I will. Gnome Games up in Green Bay has also ordered a launch kit. Hopefully I get to meet some of you Wisconsin players some day.

I'm Board in Middleton is the place to go in the Madison area. They have big showings for GoT, Netrunner, and even Star Wars. I'm sure they'll be doing full support for L5R. Monday night is usually LCG night. I was planning to call tomorrow and ask about the OP events. Will post details here.

Just a few days before my birthday! Unfortunately I'm going to be in Romania on my honeymoon then, otherwise I would see about preordering. Been a while since I stopped out at I'm Board.
