ASSAULT:
Station Assault

All right I would probably ditch station assault it does not really help you and take something else probably most wanted. Station assault will pin you to a defensive position and dictate deployment. I would also remove fleet ambush on paper it sounds great until you get a turn one hit from an ISD Akbar home one or something else to ruin your morning.

I would also drop Bosk for Dengar and gain a little bit of bid.

Yeah I'm going to side with Jamie, both the red and yellow objectives need a second pass. You're looking at something very similar to the Wave 6 variant of my Blockade Squadron list, so I'm very curious how this will turn out. Were I to run this list, I find Ruthless Strategists to rarely be worth it period, let alone when you have Flight Controllers Defenders to wipe out the enemy. I'd go down to a Q1, equipped with EHB, Boosted Comms, Flight Controllers, possibly Flight Commander, and Pursuant. Rarely will the Defenders outrun the Quasar with BC and FC, nor should the Defenders need movement help, they're second only to Phantoms in velocity. Bossk is a bit of a liability, I would do Dengar, Saber, someone else that syngergizes with the Defenders and Flight Controllers. There's an argument to be made this is actually a Sloane list in disguise, since the squadron component is a solid Sloane core. You could have DTT on two Arquitens, DCO on the flagship, and the third can be Hand of Justice, TRC, and Needa. With that setup, I'd grab Precision Strike to farm tokens on ships you can't kill outright, and Fire Lanes, since three Arqs have a fairly wide threat range with their broadsides.

Good luck in the tournament, and remember to have fun.

Thanks for the pointers, the objectives I find really hard picking. I really went back and forth between Dengar and Bossk when building the fleet. I'm gonna go back and think through the objectives a little more. As for the bid, I don't really know what to expect from people here, I'd hate to drop the bid by 3 or 4 points only to still lose the bid. I'd rather have more options for now, again I don't expect to fair all that well I'm just going for the experience, you have to start somewhere.

And that is perfectly reasonable. FFG regulations ban note-taking, but photos are usually allowed. I usually try to get photos at the top of each turn to help me remember how that match went (visual memory), though I far from consistently remember. That should help your post-battle analysis a lot. If your games end before time is called, I'd also recommend chatting up your opponent to get their point of view, or wandering around to other tables to see if you spot anything interesting.
