Not sure if this has been discussed yet, but I must say I very much approve of the decision to substitute Shinobi for what were known as Ninja in the CCG, almost as much as Bushi replacing Samurai. The two words mean the same thing, sharing a common ancestry according to Wikipedia, but conjure up different connotations, at least to my mind: "shinobi" carries a note of covert enforcement that is known to have existed in real-world history. But there is so much pop culture baggage tied to the term "ninja" that I feel the setting is better off favoring shinobi. YMMV

100% agree. I've always thought that shinobi was what most ninja wanted to be. Playing the RPG also helped reinforce this.

Plus, shinobi just feels more appropriate for cards like Actress. She's not your typical "ninja" but I can see a shinobi specializing in disguise and acting to complete secret missions.
