Twin Troopers: AT-DP, Jets, and Vehicles
Yeeeeessss!! This is what I've been saying. My double AT-DP list (affectionately named Boom and Pow) has got some heft and can really do well with some added command card punch, assuming that's what we'll see in this wave.

Enjoyed the article and can't wait for this new wave. Hopefully more vehicle command cards! As for the AT-DP with its low speed, I see it sitting in the back line taking 2 shots per round rather than it close and personal with enemies to benefit from the command cards like crush or overrun.

Not sure if I'd want two AT-DPs since it's difficult to get multiple massive figures out of a deployment zone when there is only 1 exit (even harder when they're speed 3 with no Beast Tamer help). Current map cycle has 1 exit on Anchorhead & Nal Hutta, 2 on Jabba's Palace (though there are doors to open there). Might depend on what rotates in next.
You're going to want 2 officers to get the DP into position for 2 attacks, maybe even 3.

Oh, my double AT-DP list is just for funsies :-). Yeah, the deployment zone is a nightmare. But they are potent, and they soak up damage well. In a game I played tonight, my opponent took out both AT-DPs by the end of round two or three, but that meant I had 3 eJets who were untouched, and they were able to clean up everyone left.
And offocers certainly help, but I'm still hopping we get beast tamer for vehicles.

I'm sure there will be something like that. That would solve the problems of Weiss, the AT-ST and the Tank (and maybe the E-Web). And it would explain, why the AT-DP is so slow (not to be OP when that Upgrade comes). But I fear, it will be an Attachment, so no Targeting Computer and Speed Up for the Tank.

I am hoping for this too but FFG put themselves in a bind by making jet troopers vehicles. Vehicle beast tamer would be OP for Jets. I wonder how they will balance it.

My thought is that it would be for massive of large vehicles. Here's to hoping!

They have 5+ acc and a reroll, i don't think the movement will be too much of a problem, especially with these wide open maps like the swamps.

Yeah, but with Assault it would be really helpful not to have to spend an action to get into position. And also, it's rough to get further than 6 reliably. I was trying to shoot someone 8 away (admittedly I'm an idiot--that's too far) and those rerolls are tough if you get a bad first roll. That yellow is so inconsistent, and with no way to boost range rerolling the blue is no guarantee.

And this is true for AT-DP, AT-ST as well as for Focused Fire on the Tank! Even for Weiss, who wants to shoot and use General's Orders

Large Vehicles or Large Heavy Weapons, please. I want to use E-Webs!
