But what does people think is the best meta lists right now?

There is not just one meta. Where will you be playing in?

Your list will definitely be worth a go. Focused Weequays are popular in lots of places. BT's four dice attack can be amazing, though his surges leave a little to be desired.

Hera, Gideon and c3p0 are a classic support package for rebel and scum lists (though their universal use causes some controversy on here at times ).

Yes, I think your list can be competitive. There are differing opinions about if BT-1 is worth his cost, and if Hera, Gideon, and 3P0 all in the same list allows enough room for strong attacks etc. Regardless of opinions I think all of those figures have a place on the board in competitive skirmish. You have come up with a respectable list for sure.

I'm not familiar enough with the new map to give a lot of advice on it, but it seems obvious you need ranged figures to be consistently successful. You may want to consider that and see if your list needs adjustment.

The best way to decide is just to try it out---in my experience if you learn your list's strengths and play to them you'll have fun. You'll also want to spend a decent amount of time working on your command deck---that's where a lot of the fun and nuance in list building is to be had.
