If I fly a tie punished with unguided rockets and accuracy corrector, since AC cancels the results to give 2 hits, does this still apply to unguided rockets since it is canceling, not modifying?
Accuracy Corrector
Adding results is always modifying. You can cancel, but you can't add.

You make your attack with the Punisher, roll three attack dice and then choose to trigger Accuracy Corrector which will cancel those three results. Then Unguided Rockets will not let you add the two hits from AC, so your attack will be left with zero results.
End result: Unguided Rockets and Accuracy Corrector are quite pointless together, unless you want to miss.
Not that it's a great loss or anything. I mean, in that build (even if it were legal, which it isn't) you're paying two points to...deny defenders their R3 bonus? Doesn't seem all that valuable to me.

Punishers don't have a 3 die primary...

The accuracy corrector won't work with Unguided Rockets, since you can't add results.
I ran Deathrain/Inquisitor/Backdraft at a store championship yesterday with Bomblet Generator, Accuracy Corrector and Lightweight Frame. I had considered Unguided Rockets, but since I use the 4 K-turn a lot - you can't get the focus needed to use them unless you have Advanced Sensors. So 5 points for Unguided Rockets and Advanced Sensors or 3 points for Accuracy Corrector.
I went 2-2, losing to Dengar/Unkar/Jakku Gunrunner (41-100) and Bossk/FennRau/N'dru (21-100). I beat Brobots (100-66) and Asajj/Nym (200-0).
In all 4 games, the Punisher was the last ship to be destroyed or the least damaged ship of the 3.
Mixed results, but the Punisher is a bit overcosted and lacks significant firepower to impact higher PS and Meta lists.

3 Dice Primary doesn't matter if you're cancelling down to 2 hits.

sometimes you can roll 3 hits on 3 dice. you just have to believe in yourself, buddy.

I don't know why, but this was the funniest **** thing I've read all day.

What punisher was it?
I tried Deathrain with AS and bomblet and it made 3 actions every turn leaving bombs all over the place.
The others are either overcosted (redline) or lacking any special ability that would allow them to have enough kick and appear more on the mats.

My Punisher was Deathrain. I have played Redline in the past, which is a pretty effective firing ship, but typically can't match higher PS or other ships with arc. The new Scurrg is a higher cost, but with 3 primary fire, better dial, EPT, turret, and more shields, it is tremendously better than the Punisher.
Right, makes me think that they intentionally left the punisher that way. Such a shame, if they decided to come up with a thing such as the Scurrg later.

It would not surprise me if they came out with a Title at some point and a few new pilots to try to make it viable. I may try something at a casual tournament with a Cutlass or 2 - just to see how it goes. Lightweight Frame helped Deathrain quite a bit, so it might be interesting to run with some old school TIEs and a bomber with the TIE Shuttle title.
At a Store Championship here a guy with a Cutlass and bomblet generator began to wreak some serious havoc. ?
I wasn't convinced at all about cruise missiles when they came out but right now they seem to be the best option around for missile carriers -- at least regarding imperials.
LWF is good, but still doesn't convince me, yet I have to admit that it varies from ship to ship.. on QuickDraw I'd take LWF only if I could not take pattern analyzer or load up some missiles. And on the punisher I still think that GCs are the best option.
