We've known about this text for awhile thanks to a short period that fiveringsdb had it up on their site. I made of proxy of it that you can see here. Glad to see it's confirmed, but I don't think the card makes waves.

Yeah it probably does not, but as a Crane I do hate to run into Shameful Displays and Ancestral Lands headfirst so maybe this guy will see some play. I really need to see Political Rival though and I will not get to do so until GenCon. :(

6 political skill plus Covert when defending, for 3 Fate? Ouch.

I don't think the Crane need that sort of additional political firepower, but it would splash fantastically into the more military clans. For 3 fate you get to stop Hotaru in her tracks.

If that IS a conflict character and splashable...that may just bump Crane up on my list of options for splashing with my Phoenix.

Considering Covert doesn't work unless you're declaring an attack, its such a wasteful card if it was a conflict personality.

Well, if you have Covert, you can't be singled out by an attacking Covert character, so that's quite useful.

Yes, during the Action Window between conflicts, you can.
