Gencon is OP anyways. That thing jumped the shark a long time ago. Too many interactions, the field is too crowded now, so many decisions to make. How do you even introduce a new player? Plus there's that whole pay for early access to the coolest new stuff thing going on.

I remember when it was just 1st ed D&D. Simple. No prestige classes, no feats...
