Plan here is to be a little more conservative, slow-rolling the Star Destroyer while picking apart ships and squadrons with the squadron ball. Avenger also has the benefit of hitting any enemy squads that drift into its flak range after Sloane hits enemy tokens.

I'm just wondering if the squad ball will be able to take out ships. After one round of any serious AA at all the four TIEs will be gone, and the lambda and aces I don't think are going to take down many ships all by themselves.

Also why the boosted comms and the lambda? Seems like you only need one or the other.

Lastly im wondering why you are slow rolling boarding troopers. Seems like that's exactly what they don't want to do. I don't know what your plan is, but I'd take gunnery teams instead.

Slow-rolling boarding troopers is a cheap upgrade that gives options for other list design aspects. Similarly, a Lambda Shuttle lets me Strategic around some tokens if necessary especially early on before I need it exclusively for squadron activation purposes.

The Squad ball doesn't need to take out the ships, it needs to give Avenger some spent defense tokens. Within that context, I have the options to do so.
