That's totally fine!
3 Tactician Auzitucks? It'll never work! (also Daredevil Wulf)
I just realized, the new FAQ appears to say you should never put Outmaneuver on an Auzituck. They literally don't have and cannot make forward firing arc attacks, only front half arc attacks.
Today I played another game of Triple Tucks (fleet link) and it went really well. My opponent said Leia was clearly the reason he got brutalized.
So, really good update to the fleet! Thanks for the suggestion!
My opponent was playing a silly list that turned out to be kinda effective. Norra with Expert Handling + Veteran Tail Gunner + R2 Astromech + GNK "Gonk" Droid + Shield Upgrade; Lando (YT-1300) with Falcon Title + Gonk + Shield Upgrade (and I forget what else, maybe Nien Nunb? He was at 200 points).
He wanted a silly way to make Gonk work, and the action economy of Gonk + Lando turned out well for Norra (who shed a ton of damage, regained 2 shields while running away, and kept shedding damage). There was just one problem: I got some decent damage on Norra on the approach, then pretended like I was imagining turning or maneuvering around an asteroid, but secretly dialed in stop maneuvers. I revealed dials and Leia worked her magic: Norra ended up at range 1 - 2 of three well-modified tucks.
That said, Norra's ability is ridiculously good, as in what Reinforce used to be good. She shed a lot of damage that round and was managing to limp away, but within another round or two I finished her off.
In the mean time, Lowhhrick was taking a savage beating and had only one hull left, so I decided to flee with him. My opponent had expected me to turn in and stick it out, or pull another full stop round, and so Lowhhrick managed to get away by the skin of his teeth (lucky dice at range 3, though). From there it was the Kashyyyk + Wullff pounding into the Falcon. Lando actually got the Kashyyyk down past half health, but Wullff rolled a great attack and finished things.
Conclusion: Leia is the boss. She makes it very hard to predict what the team is going to do, and that makes the opponent have to hedge bets or take big risks. This is what she was meant to be in 1st edition; she's finally awesome! I think she's going to make it into more of my lists because of the power of jousting the fleet stress-free every few turns.
BTW, this thread is so long, I'm considering restarting with an "Auzitucks 2.0" thread. It wouldn't be limited to triple tuck lists but that'd be a major theme. We're 12 pages deep and most of those are from 1.0.
Maybe something cheeky like "Triple-Tucks Fanclub (and other Auzituck lists)", unless that's too obnoxious.

Just change the name of the thread (edit the first post) and keep it going ... anything new will drop off the bottom faster than a longer thread!
Eh, a 2.0-specific Auzituck fanclub thread wouldn’t hurt I don’t think? I like the idea.
I really need to get a third dial, though I might just bite and get 2 more so that I can buy a fourth ship model, too.
man ... i forgot that you only get two dials in the conversion kit ... I'm gonna have to get on the shill for a third so I can run some of these things!
What name would you all recommend?

Would love to see a new thread and I honestly like the name you suggest!
New discussion thread! All new discussion can go there to give us a fresh start, so newcomers don't have 12 pages of first edition talk to sort through. ![]()
