Fill in this 34-36 point gap...

By Rinzler in a Tie, in X-Wing Squad Lists

I'm toying with a Kanan build (Accuracy Correct/title) and have 34-36 point left..

That's too many points for Biggs and, frankly, I don't want to play Biggs. I need something with above-average mobility and is offensively relevant. Please don't mention any A-Wings lol

That's prime Nien Nunb territory:

NN (29)
Stay on Target (2)
BB-8 (2)
Pattern Analyzer (2)
Integrated Astromech (0)
Black One (1) = 36

OR

NN (29)
Snap Shot (2)
R3-A2 (2)
Pattern Analyzer (2)
Integrated Astromech (0)
Black One (1) = 36

Just two variations. Just such a fun ship to fly. I've been messing around with AT too in some cases.

What about a stripped down Rebel Nym?

Captain Nym (Rebel) (30)
Veteran Instincts (1)
Bomblet Generator (3)
Fire-Control System (2)
"Genius" (0)
Havoc (0)

Total: 36

For 34 points you can run Snap as well.

•"Snap" Wexley (34)
Autothrusters (2)
Intensity (2)
R2 Astromech (1)
Primed Thrusters (1)

Total: 34/100

I also echo a recommendation for the 36pt Nien with BB8 above.

Yo, thank you - I had forgottena bout Nien. I love the Stay on Target build that someone from Canada made (PtL League) - thank you for the reminder.

Ugh. I haven't opened my Scurrg because I'm afraid the immense power will blow my roof off.
BUT I just may. What's the alternative build if I don't want to use bombs? or at that point should I look elsewhere?

Instead of bombs you could do this:

Captain Nym (Rebel) (30)
Veteran Instincts (1)
Extra Munitions (2)
Cruise Missiles (3)
Guidance Chips (0)

Total: 36

You could swap GC for LRS to your flavor. Though not sure how good this is. After the 2 cruise missiles are gone there isn't enough left on Nym. Some do the autoblaster/accuracy corrector for R1 engagements, but you don't have the points left. Plus with his ability, you want to be bombing, at least with the bomblets. I'd say drop down to a generic, but then you can't go Rebel so that's a no-go as well.

Definitely favor the bomb option and relying on the 3-dice primary. If only there were generic (or cheaper unique) options for the Rebel Scurrg... *sigh*

At 36, that's a decent Poe (PS 8, R5-P9, Adaptability, Pattern Analyzer, IA)

Thanks for all the feedback. Maybe I can just be more direct. I'm trying to make a list that will deal with current Rebel outfits (Biggs, Low, et al).
This is the Ghost/Phantom build:

Kanan Jarrus (38)
- Autoblaster Turret (2)
- Accuracy Corrector (3)
- Rey (2)
- Hera Syndulla (1)
- Ghost (0)

Zeb (18)
- Chopper (0)
- Phantom (0)

----- 64 points -----

Which leaves the 36 points I started this thread with.
I am not sure about the crew... Rey makes me feel good because with the Fair Ship Rebel play-style, I can slow roll just as well and bank at least four focus before we ever exchange fire. Then it's all bumping, Accuracy Correcting for four hits with the Autoblaster, and then 5-k'ing and using the primary. Rinze and repeat.
Hera let's me 5-k for days, getting the most coverage for the ABT. I assume after the initial bump, the Ghost will take no more actions.

I was also toying with Baze Malbus, the idea being that once I am out of range forthe ABT, I can take multiple primaries, ignoring Biggs for the second shot (because why the **** not). This could also be used at the end of combat if the scenario fits (rare).

Back to the 36 points. These are my favorites so far.

Nien is still in the back of my mind as being a better arc-dodger than Poe against FSR, but no regen. My other option includes this stripped down Norra, who would die entirely too quick because she cannot arc dodge:

Norra Wexley (29)
- Push the Limit (3)
- R2-D2 (4)
- Alliance Overhaul (0)

Really looking forward to the feedback. I also have a Imp list I'm building to take on FSR and still be competitive elsewhere...

I don't think Kanan has enough PS for the Autoblaster to be worth it, people will be able to get out of Range 1. I think the Stressbot Snap Shot Nien is legitmately killer. Norra with PTL/BB-8/Kyle would fit in that point gap, and she is real hard to pin down, Or StressBraylen, with Stressbot, Luke, also a killer filler at that point range.
