I'm in hoping to see many old friends
L(ondon)5R
Man am I late to this party.
Missed getting an invite i'm afraid, but wanted to drop by and say that if people are meeting up to play in London in the future i'm in. Based out of Hertfordshire so it's a pretty easy commute for me to get in.

Would you be down for making it to Reading, as well as London? It can't be that much harder to get to, and the scene has a couple of past Kotei champs and a **** of a venue in the town centre. I'll definitely be trying to see who is gonna actually be playing in London when I'm there though. Gotta make those release events pop!

I could definitely give it a shot, probably couldn't make it too regularly but better than nothing!

I'll be trying to make as much noise on here and on the L5R Facebook group as I can lol, I'm sure there are a lot of UK players out there, we just have a knack for being in different parts of the country lol. Although that probably makes a lot of the yanks laugh seeing as how a measly 8 hour drive takes you from the top of this country to the bottom of it XD
Question for all of you attending: now that we've got the GenCon tournament results and we've seen how all the clans have performed more or less, is anyone planning on playing a different clan than the one they entered the honored preview event under? Do you know if we're even allowed to?

This is the first I'm hearing about 'entering' under a clan. Pretty sure that wasn't a thing. If I'm forced into playing Dragon I shall, but I was always intending to play Scorpion and don't imagine for one second that my hand is forced because my thing had an obvious clan behind it. I don't even really dig the Dragon clan, just the mon lol.
If anything, I want to play the Scorpion clan a little less now that it's probably going to be a very popular pick lol

Well, the whole point of the tournament is that your entry was a creative way of showing dedication to YOUR clan.
Everyone play Unicorn to restore balance!

That's one read. Another was that the entry was a creative way of showing dedication to L5R as a whole. Plenty of the entries didn't have a specific clan thing going on for them in any way whatsoever, what about those guys? If we're locked in to something then we're locked in, but I'd be surprised if they didn't let folks play whatever they wanted.
