Flechette or Seismic Torp?

What's the strategy for playing generic Phantoms? I always feel bad about cloaking because can't attack... But then if I decloak they just die! Do you use it everytime you don't have a shot just to reposition/arc-dodge?

Oh. Seismic Torps definitely have no interaction with Mapper, they're not a bomb upgrade nor do they have an associated template to place even if they were.

It's almost like you could read the card to find out your answer.

Yeah but could seismic torpedo be used against a bomb token before it detonates?

No.

Bombs are not obstacles.

(It would be cool if it could, it might make it more useful, but it can't).

You mean something like drop a mine and then later "detonate" it with a Seismic Torp although it would then only get the torp's effect?

I've had a similar question recently myself. When/if slamming bombs isn't a think anymore, I might want to try out 58 pt super dash with a bomblet Miranda. Dropping clusters and therefore EM too makes enough points for that super dash, but should I keep advanced slam? Seismic torps and flechettes are options. Or a bid. But honestly after thinking about it, seismic torps and flechettes are both just terrible. Spend those 2 points somewhere else, and if there's nowhere else to spend them, take the bid. Even if PS bidding doesn't matter, it at least makes your last ship alive essentially worth 2 extra points.
