Well, it's on the first post of the thread... which should remain relevant until GENCON... after which it will plummet... So yeah, it will probably sink into the depths of the board until this board goes away, or the internet collapses, or we get hit by an asteroid.

but, hey... there is always a chance the singularity will occur, fusing organic and synthetic into one mind, preserving the digital information of the internet for all time within is cybernetic synapses. I don't know why people are so adamant that Piett should get an ability that demonstrably DID NOT WORK .

If you want to hew closer to theme, you could say:

"While a friendly ship is attacking a ship at close-long range, if a hull zone has no shields remaining, you may add 2 black dice to attacks from that hull zone. Any squadrons attacking your ships are treated as if they had the Bomber keyword."

Dunno if that's even worth taking, but...it hits the theme.

It may have worked, if his underlings had actually followed orders. You can clearly see that there are few, if any turbolaser shots when the A-wing crashed into the bridge.

Hmm...actually, that's not bad.

Not bad at all. Murder with Contested Outpost and Station Assault. Drop an Interdictor in your list and you can take advantage of your opponent's contested outpost...

Sheev should be something like post-errata X-Wing Sheev, that rewards prediction but punishes overconfidence. A trigger based on calling an enemy ship's next command dial before it reveals, for example, discard it if correct, give them a free command token if wrong.

What about a halfway compromise?

IFF is the Fleet Command based around Concentrate Fire tokens (Don't know what effect it ought to have yet), and Piett gives his flagship a fleet command slot? In addition to a "may spend defense tokens at speed 0?"
