Looks like they are wanting to do a GURPS thing with the Star Wars RPG system - called Genesys.

Genesys is (besides the Terminator movie) the name of FFG's new RPG book. It's rules for their Star Wars RPG, with the Star Wars removed. You can play fantasy, etc with it.

They had a news post on the Genysis system a while back. Essentially just narrative style RPG dice that are setting agnostic and can be used to create-your-own narrative RPG, if that is the sort of thing you are into.
