So, skimmed through an older post and it seemed to confirm this is how it works, but with things like autoblaster turret and Nym being popular and Biggs being popular, I want to just double check some scenarios:
1) Nym w/ABT has Jess Pava range 1 in arc, and Biggs range 2 in arc . Jess Pava is range 1 of Biggs. If Nym declares he is using ABT, Biggs is ineligible bc ABT is only range 1 (even though Nym's primary could shoot him), so Jess Pava can be targeted by ABT.
2) Nym w/TLT has Biggs range 1 in arc, and Jess Pava range 2 in arc. Jess Pava is range 1 of Biggs. For the same reason as above, if Nym declares he is using TLT, Biggs is not eligible as he is range 1, and Jess Pava can be targeted by TLT.
Auxiliary arc questions:
1) Norra Wexley is in between Biggs and Cpt. Rex. Biggs is in front arc close range 1, and Cpt. Rex is close range 1 in the back arc. Rex and Biggs are range 1 of each other. Rex cannot be targeted because he is range 1 of Biggs, and the auxiliary back arc is technically just the primary weapon, so Norra has to shoot out the front at Biggs.
2) Replace Norra Wexley with Quickdraw (w/Spec Ops title ofc), same scenario. Quickdraw shoots one less die out the front at Biggs, allowing it to shoot an additional shot out the back. Can Quickdraw shoot Rex now bc the title specifies the second attack has to be out the back arc, and obviously Biggs cannot be targeted from the back arc? Or would Quickdraw simply roll one less die out the front, to then not be able to shoot out the back (since Biggs cannot be hit from the back)?
I feel like 1, 2, 3 are correct, but let me know if they are not. For 4, I cannot say for certain, but would lean in favor of Quickdraw being able to shoot Rex out the back.
Any other messy Biggs and range/arc interactions to be aware of?
