Store Championships are the first level of Fantasy Flight Games Organized Play stystem for X-Wing. Store Championships are the go-to event for a player looking for a more structured tournament than their weekly/monthly game night. Each Store Championship has a number of Swiss rounds and elimination rounds based on attendance, with top finishers receiving a bounty of prizes!

Due to the level of interest for our Store Championship it simply isn't possible to complete the tournament in a single day. Last year our attendance was 78 players which meant 9 rounds of play in a single day. That was simply too much, so for a better play experience for all we have decided to make our Store Championship a weekend of events.

We will also be streaming live from our Store Championship all weekend!

Day one will consist of the Swiss rounds for our X-Wing Store Championship.

Day two will have multiple events running at the same time.

The first event will consist of the Single Elimination rounds for the Top players on the previous days Swiss rounds.

The Second event will be a Redemption tournament that anyone can play in. The redemption event will be $10.

Additional Gold Squadron Prizes and Swag

Every player who makes the Day 2 Single Eliminations rounds will receive a custom made Gold Squadron Podcast Messenger bag for carring around your X-Wing Supplies.

Additionally everyone who participates in the Store Championship will receive a pack of 19 extended art proxy uprgade cards that have been corrected with all the proper erata and FAQ text.

We will also have some past Gold Squadron events and Podcast Swag as additional prizes!

These uprades are not tournament legal and meant for new & experienced players to get access to some good upgades with the proper text for casual play.

Additional prizes will be announced closer to the day of the event and will depend on participation.

In the event that we have 24 or less players we will run the Store Championship as a single day event, but we will still have our Redemption tournament and any sides events on Sunday Aug. 6th.
