If I don't get an FFG MC75 Profundity this Christmas I'll.....

and how many hull, sheild's, engineering points etc do you think you'rd get for those points? :P

As I said, it could be just like the quasar, and I'd still consider it. Not consistently, but I would.

Are you trying to give people nightmares? It would be awful if it didn't have a weapons team.

I would think it would have a Fleet Command Slot, that was its primary role in the battle, and the command pod being so detached from the main ship would support that role, allowing greater visibility.

All I say is "Dual Ion cannon upgrade slots" ;)

That'd be my Christmas.

What would you fit in those?

High-Capacity Ion Turbines and SW-7, it's an extra guaranteed damage, with a CF it's +2 damage anyways

Take Screed, stack blue crits and fire control team. More fun.

Well, y'know, if we weren't generally talking about the Profundity.

Because, y'know. I'd love a Rebel Screed :)

Not my fault you play the wrong side. Profundity had torpedoes per lore though? That sounds fun. Rebels rather have a lack of torpedoes

My impression was the the MC75 might be the large ship to NOT have any blue dice. It sat at range and duelled with two ISDs. Then got wrecked up close by Devastator. Lore says torpedoes.

So give me a ship with reds and blacks, an officer, offensive, turbolaser, gunner, and ordinance slot.

Yeah, but of all the rebel ships with guns, only 3 variants don't have red dice - the MC30TF, the CR90B, and the GR75 Combat. So we need more blue dice focused ships to add to those kinds of tactics.

It could be a med ship with two versions. The higher one as command cruiser with red black. And the lower one as blue black. That would be fun.

I would love it if the MC75 was medium base, with two variants. A command/squadron carrier and an assualt.

The carrier would have Officer/Gunnery/Offensive/Eng and a basse squad value of 4.

The assualt would have Officer/Defensive/Offensive and either Ionx2 or Torpedox2 but NO Gunnery for the lulz.

Title cards could be:

After you execute a maneuver, one small ship at distance 1-5 may execute a 1-speed maneuver.

And

When you reveal a Repair or Navigate Dial, you may ready one of your defensive tokens.

I don't think we've got anything that has Gunnery / Offensive / Support, do we?

For the slots, are you trying to just wishbuild something with Flight Controllers, Boosted Comms/Expanded Hangar Bay, Fighter Coordination Team, and a Flight Commander? I really doubt FFG is going to let this exist. We have the Pelta, it's got all that but the Flight Controllers.

I'm gonna be really mad if the rebels get a 3rd large ship before the empire gets a 2nd.

Rebels need more medium ships. It may not yet be the best time for the MC-75 right now. Might be a better time for the Katana Fleet

The interesting take of Offensive and wep. teams MC75 is it gives the rebels a strong platform to take Boarding troops.

With Offensive and support teams MC75 we lean towards EHB+FCT to have a the aggressive carrier better able to push its squads as it makes it aggressive attack path. With its medium or large base there's a possiblity to bump squads thus FCT being able to mitigate this.

Looking at both possible options it does seem the MC75 will be at squadron 3. Also for those who might look down on a squad 3 BT brawler ship, the untargeted token on 4 defence token ships is often a contain and on MC30s its a evade. The only reason to look down on it is its not Avenger.

It's pretty clear MC75 will be a medium.

Because Interdictor got away with being medium.

One question: How much will the MC75 cost, regardless of whether or not it is medium or large?

I'd like to suggest 99 points, assuming that it is a squadron 4, 4 attack dice on main arc, weapons team, officer, double offensive retrofit, ordnance ship.

I gotta echo those that say the MC75, if released, should be the first Rebel large base ship with black dice.

Based on the RO Visual Guide, all the visible turbolasers on the ship are broadside mounts. I'd be very intrigued if the MC75 had a front arc of 3 black and two side arcs with 3 red and 1 blue. Basically, the MC75 would be a perfect pairing with either MC80 variant. It would either charge in behind a MC80 Liberty and do a frontal assault, or work in conjunction with an MC80 Home One in a sort of "broadside/frontal" combo.

I'd also echo the idea of making the MC75 more of a carrier ship as well, giving it a 5 fighter strength.

Lastly, make an Admiral Raddus card that is ideal for a risk taking Rebel player. Aggressive & bold!

Blue dice, not red, and I'm OK with this. The rebs have too many red dice ships and not enough blue.

From what I've looked up so far on the MC75, I think it'll have an ordnance slot on both ship cards. Medium ship with 2-3 black dice front/sides, 2 red and 1-2 blue as well

I would love if the MC75, had two of each color on the sides, and 1 of each color at the front, maybe only two blue at the rear. :D

yeah or how about a dice layout similar to the Interdictor: 2red, 1blue, 2black for its front and sides with 1red and blue on the rear? maybe AS 2blue? Shields 4/3/2
