Heretical doubts

By Lord Deimonos, in Rogue Trader

It is regarding talents and the prerequisites. If a character has a talent that requieres a characteristic in a certain number (lets say Ag 30) and gets caracteristic damage (Now Ag 20). Is the talent lost? Or, if the damage can be healed, its maintained?

Thanks in advance.

It's not lost, it's just inactive until the characteristic is healed.

At least as far as I've ever seen.

Indeed. I'm not aware of any situation where a character loses a talent/trait except where very explicitely stated (I think stuff like possession and pure faith might have such a caveat).

You might not be able to use a talent - indeed it's quite a common occurance (it can be as simple as not being able to use Weapon Training talents because you're unarmed) but that doesn't mean you don't have the talent anymore.

Cybernetic Resurrection in DH1 makes you lose talents permanently.

As does interrment in a dreadnought in Deathwatch. But again, it's always very clear.
