How to use a litre of Bacta

By SanguineAngel, in Game Masters

Hey guys, got a quick question. Has anyone got a solid ruling on how a litre of Bacta should be used in isolation? I can find reference to using Bacta patches and Bacta injections but not their effects.

In the absence of any firm rule, my intention is to make them a consumable med kit: removing the difficulty penalty on one medicine check.

Without a bacta tank, it's as useless as handing bags of dialysate solution to a patient in renal failure.

Well, respectfully, I don't think that's true (although I appreciate the analogy) ; the rulebook specifically mentions that bacta, though typically used for full immersion treatment can also be applied in patches and injections which are often included in med kits. It just doesn't say what mechanical effects are

I would guess it is listed to be used as a refill for both kits and tanks. Its listed with a cost much the same as an ammo reload for a blaster.

Drink it! Shake 6 cl Whyren's and 4 cl of Meiloorun juice with ice, pour it and top up with Bacta. Delicious! The whole litre is going to last you ten drinks, but don't worry: The Whyren's will make you very merry, but the Bacta is going to keep the intoxication from getting poisoning and the hangover at bay.
