I hate to say this because the t-70 is getting there...since no other x-wings are taken. I love the t-70 but obvious creep is obvious.

otherwise I agree mostly with the scum and villainy arguement. It's a contrived third faction, put in the game in a way that makes little sense. And many of its ships now lead to problems.

meanwhile the u-wing is still in need of help. Come on.

How so? The T-65 is a lot more common with Biggs, usually. Jess Pava did start to get stapled next to him, though, so maybe they are 50/50. None of the other pilots for either ship are really top tier right now. Poe obviously used to be up there, but he has fallen a lot. Wes Janson had some fringe play when Deadeye scouts were a thing.

Power level-wise, both ships are similarly weak. The T-65 is a bit more efficient, but the T-70 has boost and an improved dial. Pretty balanced!

Biggs alone doesn't mean t-65 c-wings are popular. Besides the op was a personal question so yes, I'm tired of people constantly taking T-70 x-wings over t-65's because the benefits for the extra points are simply too great to ignore in the basic design. And in our group, though it makes little sense, even Biggs is ignored.

Sure, that is fine and all, but obvious power creep is not obvious when it is imaginary. Point for point the T-70 is less efficient than the T-65. It is balanced out by better movement. There are a great deal of powercreep stories in X-Wing, but T-65 vs. T-70 is not one of them, just like TIEs vs. TIE/fos isn't. Brobots vs. JM5Ks is, X-Wings vs. B-Wings, non Crackshot TIEs vs. Crackshot TIEs, B-Wings vs. the general power level.

You are tired of your group overplaying the T-70 and I get that (like I posted earlier, I got incredibly tired of the one guy that just has to put Dengar into every single list he brings). Unfortunately conditioning them through hard counters is pretty difficult when T-70s have no particular weakness apart from their weak stats, unlike with me playing lists that kill Dengar very fast and turn off his 4 points of Expertise. Just playing good lists should be enough.

I love all opponents equally as it means I'm getting a chance to play.

...that said, don't love 4 x TLT lists as much as most others...

How is Nym already on people's lists? He's been out for just a few weeks!
