Hey Kelvin, have you looked at Snap/R3A2 Nien Numb as a 4th ship in Snap/Juke?

It sort of overlaps, and it allows you to lock a target in place so the As get both their Snap Shot and regular primaries on a target.

Actually this was the original version shown to me by @KineticOperator. I moved to Norra as I found I lost Nien too often. I'm now on:

For snap juke I've been flying these two versions. Very very good performance from them. What are your thoughts?

Version 1 is the original version I've been flying and have a 26-9 W/L with right now. The other version is new and built around countering the new PS race, so far 1-0 lol

My A-wing snap-juke lists have been getting crushed by AC/Autoblasters and bombs (esp. bomblet generator). What do you guys suggest?

Just listened to the latest episode, and I've gotta say that I think I was mindlinked to Lyle when you guys were recording this. His summary of the issues at play here (regarding the leak, and playtesting in general) is spot on.

Great show as always!

3a) Biggs needs to be nerfed. His current wording completely removes player choice, which is almost universally bad design. My preferred change that I’ve got penciled in for my house rules is to essentially make Biggs a range 1 reverse rebel captive. "Once per round, the first ship that declares an attack against another friendly ship at Range 1 of you and could have targeted you instead, receives a stress token." P.S. Spoiler alert, yes I am rebalancing the entire game with my own house rules because I’m crazy, but that’s a discussion for some other time.

3b) R4-D6 needs a nerf. You should only be able to trigger it if you're not already stressed. Makes Biggs way too good especially with his ability.

or just ban him.

So far my best strategy has been prayer. Still troubleshooting though.

Hey it's my notes! I listened to the show but didn't think they made it into the recording. Did they get posted somewhere or am I losing my mind?

Dom mentioned that missiles are greater than Biggs, and certainly in his configuration they are, but it also sounds like he didn't face the most efficient versions of those lists?

Derp, fail, there it is! :P

Biggs and Low were mentioned as a pairing in the article on the gunship (and selflessness too), so they knew it wasn't something missed in playtesting it was knowingly (and bafflingly) placed in the game.

and it happens! it's funny seeing my opponents face when it happens. or when someone flips the table in TTS when I get off the 7 dice shot right after in the first round of fire.

Do you have a copy of Dom's exact list? The Bossk/Fenn/N'Dru combo seems quite fun.

Autothrusters killed Ion Cannon Turret not TLT if Y Wings could take Crack Shot then you would see more Ion. TLT just put the final nail in for a lot of players

The timing chart killed the revived Blaster Turret on scum Y Wings

If TLT were to get a nerf then Autothrusters needs one to

Pon has the strongest players, what country is Pon?

Also if these changes were to go into effect, it may be time to sell unless there is some guarantee that 2.0 will include the old models but I am skeptical that would be a practical business model.

If the cardboard is no longer relevant, then FFG OP should allow squad list printouts and custom art pilot/upgrade cards in place of "official cards".

Also if Biggs doesn't get a nerf and this is the official new FAQ then enjoy your new X-wing. This is the nerf the entire X-wing community deserved and Biggs is now the president building a reinforced wall.
